I haven’t been in much of a thriller mood lately but this novella had me gripped from start to finish. I’m not going to say too much lest I ruin the story but what I will say is that I thoroughly enjoyed The Kinsman and, although I did guess the twist, I’d recommend it to my thriller loving friends regardless. It’s a snappy little read that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and that’s just what I needed on this rainy day.
